The law relating to the letting of a private dwelling is covered by the Housing Act 1996. The majority of lettings will be on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy.

  • We are able to draw up a tenancy agreement for Landlords and arrange for them to be signed by your respective tenants.
  • We are able to advise you on your obligations as a Landlord in particular with respect to Stamp Duty and Deposit Schemes available.
  • We are able to assist, draft and serve any possession notices on your tenants.
  • We are able to advise and take action to take possession of your property when the Tenancy Agreement comes to an end and the tenants refuses to vacate (see Property Disputes).

Our fees for the above services are very competitive and include fixed fees for preparing the Tenancy Agreement and the service of any notice.
